Complicated Project Requires Multiple Solutions

Services Performed:
Parapet wall flashing. Installation of Decothane and atrium flashing. Pier walls base flashing. Installation of balcony floor Decothane coatings. Coping and brick replacement.

Challenge:
Multiple circular glass atriums created a rigging challenge. The building construction was hollow block and very porous brick which caused extensive water infiltration.

Solution:
Erected a combination of outriggers and pipe scaffolding to address the building work without affecting the multiple circular atriums. Also installed new CMU units in the masonry piers, new decothane thru-wall flashing under the brick surrounding the atrium glass. Installed new copper thru-wall flashing at the parapet.
